Sgt. Tyler Christian, who trained convicted murderer Jeffrey Nelson, preaches "Killology" and has a history of getting hands-on with male and female officers alike.
Great story! Is there someone I can talk to at DivestSPD about possibly running this story in a local newspaper? Thank you for your consideration. - Andy Hobbs, Auburn Reporter
There is nothing newsworthy here. I’d rather read stories of the many police officers in the state that have been suspended or actually found guilty of inappropriate behavior and are still on the force.

All you have are two accusations that were throughly investigated and determined to be unfounded? That’s all you got? That’s what it takes to write a smear story? Did you interview Mr. Christian?
They weren't "unfounded." They were "inconclusive." There's a difference. And the explanations given by the investigator for why the allegations were unfounded, which are included, are nonsensical.
You missed that he is part of the "auburn elite" class. His mom is food bank/homeless shelter director, and besties with the mayor. But I'm sure it's not related to him having no consequences.
We noted the mayor's relationship with the mother in the complaint, but were unable to verify it at the time of publication. It would make the bizarre argument in the outside investigation make more sense if the Mayor had a hand in it. If you have some more info on that, please DM us.

You’re confabulating a hit piece with literally nothing concrete to back it up.
